  • Citizen's Guide to NJ's Open Public Records Act
    The Citizen's Guide to the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) has been prepared by the Government Records Council to help the public understand the requirements of the State of New Jersey's Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.). This guide is intended to familiarize those who want access to public records of their rights and of the responsibilities of public agencies that hold records, but is not to serve as a legal reference.
  • NJ U.C.C. Filings Search
    Have the option to run a "Certified" or "Non Certified" search by individual, organization, and filing number. If you select the "Cerfified Search" option then the results will show only the individual or corporate name, city (corporation search only) filing date and filing number and give you the option to purchase the full, certified filing. Selecting Non Certified search gives you the same information but the cost of the non-certified copies is significantly cheaper and you have more search options--you can use boolean search operators to pull variations of names (see the Search Manual linked below for examples). The database defaults to displaying only active filings but you can also select the "include lapsed filings" option to view historical informaiton. See the UCC Search Manual for more information:

    Search for attorneys who have been admitted to practice in New Jersey, and to obtain information about attorneys, such as date of admission, status to practice law in New Jersey, and county and municipality of the business office of practicing attorneys.
  • NJ Banking, Insurance, Real Estate License Search
    This search can be used to obtain name, mailing address, license reference number, type and status on persons and organizations licensed with the NJ Department of Banking & Insurance.
